Once again....I can't believe it has been a month since I posted! How time flies when you're busy, lol.
It has continued to stay warm here, with rain off & on. We didn't have much of a winter & now the warm spring is here. We have planted flowers outside & I bought a hanging tomatoe little goodie is starting to ripen already.
We have gone to a couple estate sales & I found vintage buttons & linens. I have listed some of them, but I guess they are not in demand right now....will try again another time.
I've also been stitching & selling Easter & spring candle mats & small hanging pillows....will post some pictures.
I'm also working on a cross stitch birth sampler for my other half's great grandchild. Actually, mommy is in labor today, so it is an exciting day!
It's been a rainy day here, so I guess I had better get some stitching done until I can get back outside.
Happy crafting, everyone!

Can't Believe It's Been So Long......

...since I posted on here. Life happens & time goes by too fast. I know all too well....another birthday has come & gone. Atleast I'm another year closer to drawing that "big" Social Security check, lol. I was surprised with a party by some friends....lots of good food & fun....nice gifts, too, lol.
I'm still enjoying this unusually warm winter here in Florida. Spring has come early...some flowers are blooming & the trees have sprouts & pollen. Not so good for my allergies. I'm anxious to get started with my gardening.
But I have found time for stitching more candle mats....even finished an Easter rabbit that I started quite a while ago....take a look at some of the items I made....hopefully there will be more to come soon.
Better get back to stitching....hope to list on Ebay tomorrow.
Take care & happy crafting!

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is certainly upon us! Hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving. We had friends & family for dinner and had such a great time with everyone.
The weather here in Central Florida has stayed warm, but this week the temp will drop down in the 60's during the day & 40's at night....brrr. By the end of the week, it should warm back up in the 70's.
I thought I would show you some of the holiday crafts I have made & sold on Ebay. I hope to get many more done before the selling season is over.
Happy crafting everyone!

Rainy Saturday!

Rain rain go away! This is the second day of rain...about 3" so far & could get 6" to 8" by tomorrow! But a perfect day to stitch & blog, lol.

I have the last two fall candle mats listed on Ebay & have started working on C'mas. With the weather still warm here in Florida, it's hard to believe the holidays will be here soon.

Of course, I still have fall & everyday items listed on Etsy....check out both my sites.

'Til nextime....gotta get to stitchin'!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone had a good...and safe...Labor Day!
Time to think about fall coming, eventhough it will be quite warm here in Central Florida for another month or so. We have been far...during hurrican season. I continue my prayers for all those affected by Lee...hopefully Katie will not cause too many problems. There are more tropical depressions brewing....and the season lasts 'til Nov. Stay safe everyone!
Buster continues to discover so many new things.... I forgot what having a puppy around was like...seeing him discover new things...especially outside. This morning he was quite interested in the squirrel on the fence...thought he could catch it. He loves to chase butterflies & bugs & bring me "presents" sticks &weeds...he acts so proud when he drops them at my feet. I finally found a small frisbie & we have been playing with it out in the yard. He's learning to bring it back to me.....lots of fun! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've enjoyed doing some cross stitching again & finished two pinkeeps. I also finished another pumpkin candle mat.....all are listed on Ebay right now. And I still have items listed in my Etsy shop...check them out.

Something New....

I just finished making these pumpkins....something a little different from other prims I have been making. They are about 5" & made from homespun fabric in fall colors. There are 4 pumpkins in each set & come tied with jute, with a rusty bell pinned on.
They can be used as coasters, candle mats, mug mats, or ornies/bowl fillers...lots of possibilities.
Check them out....I have a set listed on each one of my site....Ebay & Etsy.

Newest Member of the Family.....

Thought I would introduce you to Buster....the newest member of the family. He is a short-haired chihuahua....8 months old. And is he quite the little guy....6 lbs of mischief! He is busy most of the time....playing with his toys...playing outside....loves to fetch & play ball. But he's also a good sleeper when he tires himself out.
We had a yorkie...named Gizmo, but he passed away in the ripe old age of 16. He was such a good little dog & the best companion you could ever have. We were so sad when we lost him & decided we weren't going to get another dog.
Well....Ken's oldest son decided differently, lol, said his dad was lost without a dog. So for Father's Day, he gave him Buster....and we're glad he did. Who couldn't love a little guy with a face like that, lol. He has become another great companion & alot of fun to have around. Now if we can keep up with him will be another story, lol!
