Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone had a good...and safe...Labor Day!
Time to think about fall coming, eventhough it will be quite warm here in Central Florida for another month or so. We have been lucky...so far...during hurrican season. I continue my prayers for all those affected by Irene...now Lee...hopefully Katie will not cause too many problems. There are more tropical depressions brewing....and the season lasts 'til Nov. Stay safe everyone!

Buster continues to discover so many new things.... I forgot what having a puppy around was like...seeing him discover new things...especially outside. This morning he was quite interested in the squirrel on the fence...thought he could catch it. He loves to chase butterflies & bugs & bring me "presents"....like sticks &weeds...he acts so proud when he drops them at my feet. I finally found a small frisbie & we have been playing with it out in the yard. He's learning to bring it back to me.....lots of fun! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've enjoyed doing some cross stitching again & finished two pinkeeps. I also finished another pumpkin candle mat.....all are listed on Ebay right now. And I still have items listed in my Etsy shop...check them out.

Something New....

I just finished making these pumpkins....something a little different from other prims I have been making. They are about 5" & made from homespun fabric in fall colors. There are 4 pumpkins in each set & come tied with jute, with a rusty bell pinned on.
They can be used as coasters, candle mats, mug mats, or ornies/bowl fillers...lots of possibilities.

Newest Member of the Family.....

Thought I would introduce you to Buster....the newest member of the family. He is a short-haired chihuahua....8 months old. And is he quite the little guy....6 lbs of mischief! He is busy most of the time....playing with his toys...playing outside....loves to fetch & play ball. But he's also a good sleeper when he tires himself out.
We had a yorkie...named Gizmo, but he passed away in March....at the ripe old age of 16. He was such a good little dog & the best companion you could ever have. We were so sad when we lost him & decided we weren't going to get another dog.
Well....Ken's oldest son decided differently, lol, said his dad was lost without a dog. So for Father's Day, he gave him Buster....and we're glad he did. Who couldn't love a little guy with a face like that, lol. He has become another great companion & alot of fun to have around. Now if we can keep up with him will be another story, lol!

New Prim Listings

Whew....another very warm day with afternoon showers...a typical August day here in Central Florida! I love it here, though...so much to do & lots of stores to shop in, lol.

I've been busy stitching...finished the pumpkin candle mat shown in the picture to the left. Also made the two pinkeeps shown in the pictures. All three are new designs of mine & are listed on Ebay....neat additions for fall decorating. I'm working on another new design for a fall candle mat...pumpkins & crows...hope to get it listed tomorrow.

I can't believe it's been two years since I last posted in my blog!
My good friend, June, at Gammie's Primitive Attic just started a blog and it got me interested again.
So much has taken place in two years....we have made Florida our full-time home...sold the house in PA & visit that area for a short time in the summer.
We just got back from PA, where we attended a 60th birthday party picnic for my high school classmates & myself. It was alot of fun & enjoyed seeing everyone again!
We also went to my family reunion and spent time with some of my cousins....also enjoyed seeing everyone there.
My grandaughter, who is now 12, spent a couple weeks with us while we were there....she is growing up too fast!

As far as my crafting....I have been designing & hand-stitching pRiM candle mats and hanging pillows/cupboard tucks. I plan on making some ornies/bowl fillers for the up-coming holidays.I am still selling on Ebay & Etsy, so click on the links at the bottom of the page to check them out.

Happy Monday...What a Find!

Hope everyone's weekend was a good one! We enjoyed the beautiful PA weather...cooked on the barbeque...went for a nice ride on Ken's Harley on Sunday.

Today I went through an antique dresser we got at an estate sale. I knew there were some linens in it, but I think I hit the jackpot. There were some beautiful dresser scarves, hankies, & doilies. So I have been refreshing & ironing them...took lots of pictures. I hope to get them listed this week....check out my Ebay & Etsy sites later this week for some new/vintage "goodies". I'm also adding a couple pics to show you what I found.

Ebay Listings....

Well, I finally got a couple prairie dolls & accessories listed on Ebay last night. I have more of my pRiMs to get listed, plus some vintage items we have picked up at estate auctions. Hope to get some things listed on Etsy, too.

So many things...so little time, lol.

We had company from Florida spend a few days with us over the 4th of July. We had such a good time with them...traveling around & showing them the beauty of our area. They are in CT now seeing family & friends. Hopefully, they can stop again next week...on their way back to FL.

My 10 year old granddaughter was with us until Wednesday...now she is with her dad, my son, for a couple weeks. We always enjoy having her here....she keeps us busy.
