It's been a busy time around here. Ken is still working on the new wood floors. They are looking so good! He also got his Harley fixed so he can ride it more.
I'm still sewing for the upcoming craft show I'm doing with my sister on the 19th & 20th. We are hoping for lots of sales.
We also babysat a 2 yr old Yorkie for friends of ours....lots of fun for our Yorkie. But our cat hid for the whole time the dog was here. He chased her once & that was it....how funny!
Our weather has cooled down, with rain off & on for about a week now. But that's ok....cooler that being down in Florida.

I had a busy weekend....working outside weeding...getting ready for new flowers....putting down some mulch around the shrubs. We bought a Topsy Turvy bag to grow a tomatoe plant in, but I think I will wait another week to plant. It's still getting pretty chilly at night here in the mountains of PA.
I also did alot of sewing for the upcoming craft show....hope to get more done today, too.

Today has been kind of hard....my mom's birthday. She would have ben 92 & she passed away a year ago Tuesday. She was a very special lady....one of six children....the only one to go to college. She went to a 3 year teacher's college...got her teaching degree...but never taught school. She ended up working in a bank and became one of the top officers in that bank during her career of 30 + years.
She & my dad were married 48 years when he passed away in 1988. Then she lived another 20 years, volunteering at our local hospital and spending time with her children, grandchildren & great grand children.
There are so many good things I could say about my mom, but I guess the most memorable is that she was always there for us & did anything she could for my sister & I, so we were there for her when she became ill and needed us. She passed away at home...just like she wanted. My niece & I took care of her those last few weeks and we wouldn't have had it any other way.
She was a very special lady...dressed just so, with her hair done & jewelry that she picked out each day....never left the house without her earrings on. She was the matriarch of our family, with 2 daughters....5 grandchildren....12 great grandchildren.
She & my dad are missed everyday, but we know they are in a better place....angels watching over all of us.

I'm Baaaack!

Surprise....I'm finally back...seems like forever since I've been in here!
We moved to Palm Bay, FL....got the house settled, then it was time to come north for the summer. We are in PA for a while, but will be traveling back & forth to FL this summer, too. Lots to do to the house here in Pa, too.
I have been doing cross stitching & hand sewing, such as felt items....candle mats & table runners....but haven't been listing in Ebay or Etsy yet. I'm going to do a big craft show with my sister on June 19th & 20th, so I hope to sell alot there.
I hope to get on here more often...show you some pictures....& start selling again.

It's been a while since I posted in here. We have been busy traveling back & forth to SO FL...looking at houses. Bought one at auction a couple weeks ago in Palm Bay. We have been back once to check everything out....met some neighbors...seems like a nice neighborhood & nice area.

The house needs painting & cleaning, but we really like it. I will post some pictures at some point. We will probably close within about a week, so may spend Christmas there...don't know for sure yet.

So I haven't been crafting or listing things on Ebay...also closed my Etsy store for a while until we get settled. I hope to work on some new items & start listing by the middle of January.
